Though we are open during the lockdown period, any person with acute illness and a sudden onset of at least one of the Covid-19 symptoms (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or fever >38°C) will be screened before consultation at the entrance of the hospital. If you are going into theatre and present with symptoms, a coronavirus test two days prior to your procedure will be done. If these tests are not done, you will not be allowed in the consulting room nor the hospital.
During consultation, masks and visors must be worn at all times and hands must be sanitised before entering the rooms. Our practice rooms will also be cleaned daily. At unsettling times like the coronavirus outbreak, it might feel like things are very much out of your control. But there are still lots of things you can do aside from social distancing and washing your hands with soap. To protect your health and well-being, make sure you are eating well, sleeping soundly and getting enough exercise.
